They also took the time to get to know my son and the situation my family was in. In doing so they were able to find the best treatment facility for my son. They helped us to locate the resources to get my son into treatment. We are so very thankful for all their knowledge and compassion in this complicated situationHolly, Concerned Mother

[John from HelpNest] helped me decide what my plans were for after detox. John did all the calling, trying to setup my financing, setting everything up with the treatment center. John helped me get into a facility and also called and spoke to my family. It just amazed me that someone who didn’t even know me would go out of their way to help me like that.Jody, Alcoholic, Addict

She has worked with state politicians advocating for progressive treatment funding as well as for Prison reforms for addicts. She has knowledge of both real life and professional experience of the process of recovery. Heather believes that process is a design for living that takes time and guidance by people who have a mix of that experience. She states: “Recovery is not a journey that ends in 30-90 days, and it isn’t just a chance to get sober. It is the opportunity to change one’s lifestyle. I am an addict in recovery who was given the opportunity to earn back a life that is happy and productive. This happened because I had people that guided me along the way. I keep what I have by continuing to give back what was given to me. This is not only something I have learned by education or because I have letters behind my name; this is a solution I believe in strongly because I have lived it”.

HelpNest is an addiction recovery coaching service for those struggling with drugs and alcohol. Addicts need more than just support from friends and family or even help from a substance abuse counselor. While these assets are important parts of the addiction recovery process, they are almost never enough to make a true, lasting difference. It takes much more than hard work and dedication and good intentions to overcome addiction. Addiction recovery almost never happens without coordinating the efforts of the addict, his or her family, and skilled substance abuse counselors and other professionals. That unity of approach is what HelpNest’s recovery coaches are trained to provide.
If addiction recovery is a difficult puzzle with a lot of pieces that need to fit together, HelpNest’s recovery coaches help you find them and fit them together, as well as provide the glue you need to keep them all together. HelpNest is dedicated to helping those battling addiction to obtain lasting, sustainable recovery through a comprehensive, personalized approach to all useful aspects of recovery. This approach is what we call the HelpNest Path.
The HelpNest Path begins with a comprehensive understanding of addiction and what it does to the human body, mind, and spirit. Each addict is matched with a trained and certified recovery coach who helps the addict and his friends and family understand addiction. In addition, the recovery coach is familiarized with the addict’s own unique situation and challenges. Those involved collaborate on an addiction recovery plan, and together they follow that plan, making the hope for sustainable recovery a reality. Through it all, the recovery coach is there, right beside the addict, helping him or her achieve what at times can seem impossible: overcoming addiction.
Because our recovery coaching services are comprehensive, it is difficult to provide a full list of the services our recovery coaches provide. The first step in an addiction recovery plan is usually a carefully planned and executed intervention. Many of HelpNest’s recovery coaches are certified interventionists, meaning they know how to conduct interventions so that addicts understand better the results of their behavior on themselves and those around them. When the addict reacts to the intervention by choosing to receive help, the recovery coach will provide valuable assistance in choosing what type of medical recovery treatment is necessary and where to get it. The recovery coach will assist in the addiction counseling process, collaborating with skilled substance abuse counselors, and help ensure that the addict has everything else he or she needs to enable recovery behaviors.
The journey of lifelong recovery begins with a single phone call. If you or your loved one is ready to start changing today, call HelpNest. We’ll consult with you about your situation and help you choose the next step and take it. While we are not medical substance abuse counselors, we have the expertise to match you with the medical addiction counseling services you need. Whether you choose HelpNest recovery coaching to help you or your loved one on the path to recovery, we want to help you understand the options available to you. Call us today for a free consultation, because the only time you can start the addiction recovery process is right now.
